Elizabeth Gillies
Gillies began her professional career as an actress at 12 years old, when she began attending open castings at the locality. Her first appearances were in commercials of companies like Virgin Mobile. Gillies' first television role was as a regular character in three episodes in the show The Black Donnellys. Her parents wouldn't let her to see the full program because they believed it was inappropriate. (citation required) In 2008 she was cast in minor roles in The Clique, Harold, and Locker 514. This summer she was cast in the role of Lucy in the Goodspeed show of Robert Brown's new musical 13 along with her future Victorious co-star, Ariana Grande. In the following year, 13 made the move to Broadway, which made it the only Broadway production with the entire cast and orchestra consisting of teenagers. Gillies performed in two major songs "Opportunity" along with "It It's Not True" along with smaller parts in other songs, like the "title song, "Hey Kendra" and "Getting Ready". Gillies continued to work with the show until it closed on January 4, 2009
